… who think chocolate milk comes from brown cows.
I recently read this article and find it my civic duty to make sure all my readers know where chocolate milk comes from…. hint it’s NOT brown cows…
a little cow education:
The black& white Chick-fil-A cows would typically be ‘milking’ cows. So in my mind, the fact that Chick-fil-A adds are quirky and ask you not to eat them, they typically wouldn’t be the beef in your hamburger or steaks. Yes, hamburger is beef, not ham! I hope you all knew that, if not no shaming here.
The picture below is of a Holstein cow.
Then the cow that I’m more partial too is the Angus. I’m sure you’ve seen it on menues or in your local grocer. Angus are either black or red and make very good steaks and burgers.
There are many more types of cows and cross breeding is normal. I’m not a rancher and certainly don’t know everything there is to know about cows, but I just wanted my readers to know that chocolate milk is milk from the black and white cows above with chocolate mixed in
