That’s what we averaged each day walking on this tour. Simply amazing but at the same time, I can say my feet are tired!! Time to go to bed as I have just 5 hours until we have to transfer to the airport. ...

Parting views…. including Red Square and Gum department store. While the clock doesn’t look huge, it is big enough to fit a locomotive through it!! The tour of Russia, St Petersburg and Moscow has been really amazing. Totally different than I expected. Scandinavia was also a lot of fun....

Our farewell dinner is complete so now it’s time to pack. Early transfer to the airport tomorrow morning at 5 am but I still think there is time for a final subway ride somewhere….. Just thinking maybe this will be our next tour…… This group is currently staying at...

A couple of places we wanted to visit were closed due to restoration so I don’t have a lot of pictures today, but we did go back to Red Square for some daylight photos.  The subway again…. Couldn’t go into this Cathederal, the equivalent of St Peters in Rome...

Here are some more pictures from today.   Yes we tackled the subway on our own today. So easy even though we don’t know Russian. The changing of the guard and the memorial for the unknown soldiers of many cities throughout Russia.  We were actually there at the time...

Here are some photos from today… the Kremlin. We also went to the Armory but weren’t allowed to take pictures.  The old carriages, dresses from the day, and the gold gems and crowns were amazing. Of course we got to see the Faberge eggs, again no pictures were allowed.....

Guided sightseeing includes a visit to the KREMLIN, a city-within-a-city, where you can admire the medieval towers, cathedrals, and palaces. Also visit the ARMORY MUSEUM and see the Bolshoi Theater....
