It’s hot!

This morning I believe I woke up to 30 degree temperatures, now it’s 94 degrees. It’s amazing how a 2 hour 20 minute flight can take you from chilly Chicago to hot and humid, and I do mean hot and humid Florida.

I’m am a South Dakota girl after all so I must say I prefer Chicago’s weather this weekend over today’s heat and humidity.

We spent the weekend with great friends and watching a Husker football game. We walked the magnificent mile on Friday (in the thirties) window shopping of course,and the football game on Saturday.

The high on Saturday for the game was 55, which I thought was great. It was a little cold in the shade, but we spent enough time in the sun for my face to be red still today.

We were hoping to see Nebraska’s first win, while disappointed with the final score, it was great to see so many Nebraska fans at the game. #GBR #InOurGritOurGlory #Huskers
