Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas….

So I arrived in Nebraska a few days ago and the weather was perfect. It was in the 50/60 degree range and Florida was just too warm for me. We watched a High School Football Championship game yesterday in Hays, Kansas and was perfect football weather; in the upper 50s and sunny, just a few clouds in the sky.

Back in Nebraska, less than 24 hours later, a blizzard warning and this is what it looks like (see below)….

Luckily for us, most of the snow came during the overnight hours and boy was the wind fierce. Just kept howling all night. Once the sun came up this is what it looked like. Not a lot of snow, but under the snow there was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice. Hopefully it’ll warm up tomorrow or at the least we’re hoping to see the sun and for the winds to to die down.
