Hurricane

Hurricane season officially started in June, and so far, it’s been quiet in the Atlantic. The same can’t be said for the Pacific, they’ve definitely taken the brunt of the hurricane\typhoons this year. But because it is September, we all know the Atlantic will start heating up and sure enough there are three storms brewing.

It looks like Florence will hit North or South Carolina. Helene is expected to stay out to sea and then there is Isaac…..

Isaac is the one that is most worrisome to me. The path for Isaac currently is forecasted to include the Carribean Sea. If it gets to the Carribean there is a possibility that it will reach the Gulf Of Mexico and that is not a good thing for those of us near the Gulf Coast.

I’m hoping the forecast holds true that it will lessen to a storm once it hits the Carribean but history tells me, the Carribean and Gulf waters are very warm and conducive to strengthening.

Bottom line, I’m saying prayers for all those in the path of all three storms and carefully watching Isaac. Keeping my fingers crossed.
