Finally fall..

Finally it is fall in Florida!  The entire month of December was warmer than normal with many days having near record heat. It’s been 80+ degrees mostly and I know cooler days are  not going to last. So today, on a day that Nebraska football plays in the Music City Bowl (ok, I know it’s not a BCS game, but I get to see the Huskers one last time in 2016) my house will be a little cool. 

I have the windows open trying to get it all cooled off.  Prior to opening the windows it was 71 in the house, its already dropped to 69 in less than 15 minutes.  Needs to drop another 44 degrees to be equivalent to current temperatures in Nebraska, but I don’t think I’ll make it since the high here is expected to be 60.  

I will admit the cool breeze feels quite nice. I’m sure there are people in Florida reading this thinking I’m crazy, but today is a day I  return to my roots….  Nebraska football and cold weather…  If I had my way it would be snowing in Florida!!  Prefect weather for making a nice bowl of chili or maybe Runzas for the game….
