Democratic Debate

I watched the democratic debate last night; my first ever. I found it quite entertaining at times as many punches were launched last night. I expected Bloomberg to be the brunt of a lot attacks but Sen Warren seemed to get out of the gate with a lot of negativity. Time wise it seemed to me she got more time than any other candidate. Sen Sanders to me just feels like he’s yelling all the time. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him talk with a normal volume. Even when Larry David does his impersonation, he too is yelling. And Sen Klobuchar just didn’t do much for me last night.

I got excited listening to Mayor Pete. He seemed very calm and collected. Yes he questioned others but I feel he did it respectfully. then there’s VP Biden. He started out not saying much, but when he did he made his record clear. Much of what was being discussed was things the prior administration worked on and remember he was part of that administration.

So all in all I really enjoyed the debate it had some great comedic times that I truly thought about who I was going to select in the primaries. Actually ranked them based on their platforms. Then just as I had come to my conclusion as part of my civic duties, with all excitement, I remembered I’m a registered Republican and I can’t vote for any of them in the primary. And poof, just like that, the two hour debate was lost time that I can’t get back. Should have watched a movie instead.
