The ‘S’ becomes an ‘H’. That’s right this tropical storm is expected to be a hurricane and pass through the Bahamas. The current center path is just to the east of Florida but the eastern half of the state is still in the cone.

Everyone on the east coast should continue to watch the path. The cone gives the path of greatest probability, but the actual path could deviate from the center of the cone. Please continue to monitor NOAA and your local agencies for more information.

Those in Georgia, the Carolinas and north should also watch local forecasts and prepare.
