There is No Place Like Nebraska……

We have gates at all I-80 entrances as there are times the interstate is closed…… Usually due to blizzard conditions.

We also have individuals that clear the snow/ice from traffic lights at intersections because the new, more efficient LED traffic lights do not generate enough heat to melt the snow and ice……

Our state government is Unicameral… All legislators are ‘senators’ and non-partisan…..maybe it helps to get more accomplished…

We have the Huskers… 350+ consecutive sell outs at Memorial Stadium (football) 250+ consecutive sell outs (Volleyball)… along with many other teams that are just as rich in tradition. The new tag line for the University of Nebraska is In Our Grit Our Glory and Red Burns Brighter. I haven’t lived in Nebraska for many years, but I will tell you I’m 100% Husker.

It’s quite possible, the slogan, ‘Nebraska, Honestly, it’s not for everyone ‘ maybe 100% correct.
